A book of fifty firms is A$4,000 a month — A$48,000 a year. A boutique placement fee is tens of thousands, so call the year two placements. If a year of watching fifty firms cannot be traced to two, the desk should not survive the renewal. The desk says so first.

What the desk does not do
- Score
- No probability, no match percentage, no likelihood rank — anywhere, at any price. A record stands or it is not shown.
- Read everyone
- Public code exists for about one in six people; the rest is read from moves, roles and history. You should know the shape of the gap before you buy.
- Watch people
- Firms are watched; work is read; people are neither.
- Keep paperwork
- Your ATS does that. The desk does the work.
- Search the world
- A named book, read deeply. Asked “can you search everyone,” the desk answers no.
